Harvia strengthens its position in the sauna and spa market by acquiring still water hot tub manufacturer Kirami 

Harvia has on 28 May 2021 signed and closed an agreement to acquire Kirami Oy, a leading Finnish still water hot tub manufacturer and pioneer in wood-heated hot tubs globally. The acquisition complements Harvia’s sauna and spa offering well and strengthens Harvia’s leading position as a global sauna and spa experience brand.

Nearly all of the saunas go to the export market 

The exports of the world’s largest hot tub manufacturer are now also being managed in Turku

The world’s largest hot tub manufacturer Kirami Oy has opened an export office in Turku. There are now five people working on the new premises in Telakkaranta, but the aim is to employ more export and logistics professionals. More than 40% of Kirami’s hot tubs are already aimed at export.

At the beginning of February 2020, Kirami Oy founded a subsidiary to Sweden called Kirami Ab. Kirami Ab will strengthen Kirami’s operations and cooperation with resellers in Sweden. Eric Wennerholm, who moved from Wentor Ab to Kirami’s service, will be the company’s managing director.

This week, the Finnish hot tub manufacturer Kirami will be launching a new 3D app, which clients can use to assemble a suitable hot tub set from different size, model and material options, and position it virtually in their garden. This free app helps to visualise what the hot tub would really look like in its surroundings. This app is available on Android and iOS platforms.
