Hermanni Rosengren
From work experience to being responsible for the production
Hermanni Rosengren, better known as Hemppa, first stepped through the door at Kirami Oy in 2005 to ask for a week’s work experience period for school when he was in the 9th grade. He came back for another practical training period at Kirami later, this time from vocational college. In fact, Hemppa alternated between practical training and summer jobs until he was conscripted into the Finnish Army. After completing his compulsory military service he came back to Kirami in 2011, when his permanent employment contract was signed. Now the responsibility for the production rests on his wide shoulders.
In addition to the responsibility, his duties include making tubs, ordering goods and monitoring the production so that everything stays on schedule on all of the three lines. He thinks that the duties are diverse, and the days are rarely alike. He feels that the workplace is comfortable. Hermanni praises that the work team is nice and says that they are not the most serious people, but that they have a regular supply of humour going.
He has many different kinds of hobbies: floorball, gym, volunteer fire brigade and motorcycling. He mentions that the junior activities of the floorball club are sponsored by Kirami Oy. Hemppa is a very skilful carpenter. In his free time, he makes many wonderful things like traditional-style tables out of wood, just like his father taught him.
